Wild bean
(Phaseolus polystachios)

One of three wild bean vines in our area. The other two, in the genus Strophostyles, have thinner vines with smaller pink flowers. This uncommon August-flowering species has vines than can run to fifteen feet long. MC (Fabaceae)
