Crown vetch
(Securigera varia)

Formerly Coronilla varia. This alien species has been widely planted on banks and roadsides. It is not badly invasive, but it has become naturalized in our area. Round heads of pink pea-type flowers arise on stalks above masses of thin compound leaves. MC (Fabaceae)
