Large-bracted tick-trefoil
(Desmodium cuspidatum)

aka big tick-trefoil. Tick-trefoils, or sticktights, can be difficult to separate. This species is characterized by relatively long, pointed leaflets and by its large size relative to similar species. It grows to six feet tall, with a large, branching inflorescence at the top.
