Clustered snakeroot
(Sanicula odorata)

Formerly S. gregaria. aka clustered sanicle. This plant is frequent to abundant in moist woods. Lower leaves have five leaflets. Flowers are yellowish green, while other species in our area have green or white flowers. Seeds have distinct stalks. MC (Apiaceae)
