Formerly Prenanthes altissima. aka white-lettuce; tall white lettuce. This late-flowering composite grows to seven feet, bearing small hanging flowers. Only 5 to 6 flowers per head separate it from P. serpentaria. Leaves are highly variable. MC (Asteraceae)
