Spring ladies'-tresses
(Spiranthes vernalis)

Our only early-summer flowering species in this genus, starting in mid-June in our area. The single spiral of white flowers distinguishes this species from the other ladies'-tresses, which have more than one spiral. Flower centers are yellow. MC (Orchidaceae)
