Cutleaf Groundcherry
(Physalis angulata)

An annual of the southern U.S., rare on our area. Yellow flowers are smaller than others in its genus, lacking the dark brown center of the more common Virginia groundcherry. Smooth leaves have large teeth. (Solanaceae)
