Germander
(Teucrium canadense)

aka wood sage, American germander, and Canadian germander. Like all mints, this plants has opposite leaves and a square stem. Flowers are pale purple, with downward curving stamens, two thin upper lips, and a broad spotted lower lip. Spikes of flower buds above the blossoms have a characteristic candle shape. MC (Lamiaceae)
