Hairy lip fern

Formerly Cheilanthes lanosa. Occasionally called woolly lip fern. This uncommon species prefers rocky soils and ledges; characterized by reddish brown stalks with dark hairs. Leaf lobes are small and widely spaced. MC (Pteridaceae)
