Bracken fern
(Pteridium
latiusculum)

Formerly Pteridium aquilinum. Brackens are probably the most widely distributed of all ferns, being found on every continent except Antarctica. They occupy a variety of habitats, tolerating dry conditions better than most ferns. Bracken grows to two feet in height, branching into three distinct leaflets, which are further divided. MC (Pteridaceae)
