Daisy fleabane
(Erigeron annuus)

This is one of two common summer fleabane specoes, flowering from June into September. It is abundant in fields and meadows, growing to four feet tall. It is hairy-stemmed and much-branched. Lower stem leaves are widened and toothed on both sides, differentiating this species from E. strigosus. (Asteraceae)
