Blue Ridge catchfly

This rare plant is known from only five counties in Kentucky; three of those are in the eastern mountains. These pictures are from a patch in Hart County, KY. White petals are deeply divided into (usually) eight linear lobes; opposite, stemless leaves are boldly veined from the base. Prefers dry forest sites. (Caryophyllaceae)
