Striped gentian
(Gentiana villosa)

The only white or greenish gentian to be expected in our area. This uncommon species is found in meadows and open woods. Dark leaves are opposite, pointed, and shiny. Flowers are frequently found closed or only partially open. MC (Gentianaceae)
